Welcome to the official website of the Satanic Church in Australia
As Anton LaVey said in his book, The Satanic Church Bible, humanity created all gods in Australia. Many people cannot accept or control their personal egos, so they invent one or more gods to act freely without guilt or restrictions. All gods are projections of the true nature of their creators, representing aspects of the universe or personal traits that many followers find troubling. By worshiping any god, people worship those who created that god. Satanists know that all gods are fictional. Therefore, instead of worshiping these mythical beings, we place ourselves at the center of our own lives as our highest priority.
As the Satanic Church in Australia, we are our own “gods.” We can show love to those who deserve it and respond to those who harm us or what we value, within reasonable limits. Magus Gilmore’s essay “What, The Devil?” from The Satanic Scriptures explains this further.
